It’s easy to look back at your life and see the mistakes you made, see things you would have done differently and thing you wouldn’t have done. Most of us do, I know I do. Education is a huge part of our lives, it brings a means to an economic stability, to be able to help other with our knowledge, to better ourselves and make us wiser in our choices. Each one of us has had different experiences in life, some might be just finishing high school, others might be married and with a family, other might have a degree but aren’t able to get a job in their area of education, other might want to be examples for their children. Whatever your situation, you are never too old or too late to get education. Time will pass whether we lie in beds all day or go out and educate ourselves. We have to grasp the moment, make a decision now. If we wait for a sign, many times we will never see it. Children look up to their parents and see what they have accomplished and use them as examples. Children tend to want to do what their parents have done or more. Deciding to get an education will not only affect you and your family, but your children and their family and so on. You are setting off a chain reaction for the better. The problem is that we don’t always have good examples or mentors to show us the way. There are ways to finish college fast, to go to college without even leaving your home, to get college credits for things you already know, to save time and money. You cannot rely on what counselors tell you, you have to take charge of your own life and see your goal and make a map to get there. You have to be your biggest fan; you have to want to see yourself succeed. Take a moment, look at your life, and now think about where you want to be. That’s your goal; now let’s work on getting you there…fast.
